The Transphere

You enter and the room spins. A new facade appears every time. This time it could be the cockpit of a space shuttle, a 17th century stagecoach rushing through the badlands, or even that swinging malt shop you saw in that old late night rerun. Though no matter the look is the effect is always the same. Through some working of arcane levers, buttons, and pulleys you make your way to a new destination in time and space. Time and space warp in your presence and there you are, at your destination. Just step outside and forget what you’ve seen so far.
That is only just the beginning.

I was surprised to say the least when Lee Garvin, creator of Tales From the Floating Vagabond contacted me. It was exciting to hear from the man who created possibly the greatest RPG setting in history. The following parts of this page come from my talks with him and his generous offer to let me host “teasers” of the next edition of Tales that he’s working on. And if you have the cash there’s also a .pdf of the original Tales From the Floating Vagabond to be bought online through DriveThruRPG.com

  ¤ The Past
So, can't find a copy of Tales anymore can you? Your old copy is worn out from all the use through the years. eBay has failed you and your local game dealer looks at you funny for asking about something that isn't d20. Well look no more, because now you can find it in PDF form.

  ¤ The Future
Lee Garvin was kind enough to grace this site with these juicy morsels from the next edition of Tales.

The Character Sheet
-The new character sheet. Several interesting new changes for you to drool over.

The Chart
-The big chart of everything you'll need to know about rolling dice. It's kind of like Chutes and Ladders but with more insanity, drunkeness, and death.

The Random Stereotype Generator
-This simple chart provides a quick way to roll up characters by combining stereotypes and giving bonuses and skills based on it.
