¤ Hogsylvania: Graveyard
After about an hour of walking through the hilly terrain they won't seem to be getting any closer to the mountain. (Let the players complain all they want. X will just ignore it anyway.) However, they will come upon their first landmark. As they reach the crest of a hill, they will come upon a large a fog covered cemetery. Of course the dense terrain surrounding it will be impassable on both sides. It being flanked by both a steep cliff over a river on the left and a densely packed forest in a valley to the right. Now of course the players will 'shrewdly' think this is an obvious trap to walk into. Any suggestions to take an alternate course will be merely scoffed at by X and said to be a 'waste of time'. Now try to play on the fear of the players and make it seem like something in this place is out to get them. Let them fire indiscriminately at small sounds they hear or small shadows moving. Heck, let them level a good chunk of the cemetery if they want. X will simply turn back to them and says in a complete deadpan voice, "This is a cemetery of man, you idiots. I do not know about the customs of your lands, but we do not bury pigs around here..." This little browbeating should be adequate enough to give them a small sense of safety as it might have just been a scene to embarrass them. But not so! For they still have trials to encounter. All too soon after X makes his proclamation does the sound of oinking above come to distract them. As they watch the sky, a rumbling will be heard from the earth as several more Vampire Piggies burst from the ground or swoop down from the sky to surround the group. This time the odds should be stacked against the patrons. Have two Vampire Piggies for every patron and X. The patrons should still hopefully triumph from this encounter due to the weakness of the piggies.

Once it is all said and done the sound of hundreds of stomping hooves and snorting animals should be heard from the path they just came from. Suddenly from out of the forest the patrons came from to the hill will burst a whole hoard of the piggies. There doesn't seem to be any end of them in sight. This is of course when X goes to sacrifice himself in the tradition of all great heroes. He will tell them to run while he holds as many of them of as possible. He also tells them of an old farmhouse not too far away and that they might be safe in there. With those words, he bravely charges headfirst towards the oncoming tidal wave of vampire piggies. He is quickly overtaken by the hoard and all that is seen is an arm sticking out one last defiant time before going under for good. But this doesn't solve the oncoming rush of swine. The players should feel rushed with the piggies right on their heels as they make a break through the cemetery and into the awaiting forest on the other side. As they rush through the bottleneck of pigs trying to make it onto the path will give them more time to lose them. Let the players get out of sight of them, but don't let off the pressure. Remind them that the piggies are still nearby on their tail. After they are sufficiently out of sight, the path will start getting rougher and they will be assailed by tree branches. Any women in the group will trip at least once. They will examine their shoes and will have broken a heel, even if they weren't wearing heeled shoes before... These movie cliches should point to the next encounter.
